State issues order against Maui loan company (KPUA AM 670 Hilo)

HONOLULU (AP) — The state has issued a cease and desist order against Maui Industrial Loan & Finance Co. State Commissioner of Financial Institutions Nick Griffin says Maui Industrial is a non-depository financial services loan company licensed to make loans.
