The latest craze to hit the shores of Maui and the Ocean around it is Stand Up Paddle Boarding. From a very traditional sport known in Hawaiian as Hoe he’e nalu, to a the latest Maui ocean sport, stand up paddling on a modern SUP board is becoming really popular .
Only a few years ago there were none of these guys to be seen, but now they are everywhere on the occan around Maui! And it is not just Maui where this sport is taking off as it spreading throughout the oceans of the world already!
