Pedestrian Dies in Maui Accident (Honolulu Advertiser)

A pedestrian on Maui died in a car accident Tuesday night on Kaahumanu Highway near Lono Avenue. Michael Owen, 52, was crossing Kaahumanu outside of a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a Dodge four-door sedan driven by a 45-year-old Makawao man. Owen died at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
